At the Council meeting of 8 September 2009 it was resolved to place the issue of ‘Genetically Modified (GM) Food Production and the Blue Mountains LGA’ (as presented in the associated Council report) on public exhibition to gauge the views of the community prior to the Council making any resolutions on the matter (Minute No. 372, 8/9/09).
