Representatives to sit on Advisory Committee - Call for Nominations

Shenhua Watermark Coal Pty Limited is establishing a Community Fund (Fund) as part of the Exploration Licence granted by the Department of Primary Industry and is calling for interested parties to register their interest in becoming a member of the Advisory Committee.

The purpose of this Community Fund is to support the development of the region’s economy, enhance and maintain the environment, improve important local facilities and develop and promote training and employment opportunities.

The Advisory Committee would meet twice a year with an initial start-up meeting scheduled for Thursday 13^th May 2010. The initial meeting will confirm the aim and objectives of the Fund, develop the evaluation criteria for applications, confirm the conditions of the grants, along with the process and dates for lodging applications.

The closing date for nominations to sit on Advisory Committee is Friday 16^th April 2010. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Advisory Committee and would like to receive a nomination form please contact Melanie Layton on 6741 8800.
