Major projects and activities proposed include:
* The Ashfield Council Centre Redevelopment * The revitalisation of Croydon North * New Urban Planning Strategy and LEP * Cooks River to Iron Cove GreenWay sustainability project * Ashfield's Biggest Conversation - new Strategic Plan 2020 * The works program, including roads, footpaths, parks, stormwater
The community has been telling Council it wants better maintained roads, footpaths and streetscapes. This year's Plan includes a proposal for a 4% Infrastructure Levy (rate increase) above the 3.5% rate cap for additional spending on roads, footpaths, traffic management and parks.
