Clarence River Wharves Development Plan
The Clarence River Way masterplan earmarks a number of river towns and villages which overtime are to be developed as key tourism and service hubs. A range of wharf or pontoon infrastructure of varying use capacity exists in many of these locations.
Council, with funding support from NSW Maritime is undertaking concept planning for the sustainable redevelopment of existing wharf infrastructure in Yamba (River St), Harwood, Maclean (River St), Lawrence and Ulmarra and new infrastructure at Brushgrove and Grafton.
The concept plans will make recommendations about the scale and type of infrastructure suitable for each location and the placement of support facilities.
