Q. What resources do the libraries offer?
Willoughby City Library offers modern library services to the whole community. The library holds fiction and non-fiction collections, including books, CDs, DVDs, tapes, newspapers and magazines. Books and other materials are available in English and in 12 community languages. Library members can also use the internet to access the catalogue, their account and a wide range of online databases. Word Processing and Internet access, PCs, as well as Wireless Internet access, are available at Chatswood Library. Photocopying and printing are also available for a small charge.
Q. What other services and activities do the libraries offer?
Willoughby City Library offers services and activities for all ages including; Preschoolers’ Story times, Baby Bounce sessions, the Young Adult Library, HSC resources, and the HSC Study program, Children’s’ Book Week, Chinese New Year, Carnivale, Author Talks, English Conversation Classes and Internet Tutorials Chatswood Library also has a Book and Movie Lovers Club. Groups are held in English and Mandarin.
