You can use this interactive website to comment on the Draft Blackheath Memorial Park Plan of Management or to make a public submission. The Plan of Management can be downloaded from the ‘Library’ on the right-hand side of the webpage.

Please note that comments made through this website are anonymous and as such cannot be considered as a formal public submission on the Draft Management Plan. However, a summary of all comments made through this website will be provided to Councillors along with public submissions when the draft Plan of Management goes back to Council for consideration and adoption. See separate FAQ on how to make a public submission.

All comments and submissions will be considered when finalising the Draft Blackheath Memorial Park Plan of Management.

Written submissions on the Draft Blackheath Memorial Park Plan of Management are also welcome and should be marked ‘Submission: Blackheath Memorial Park Draft Plan of Management’, and sent to one of the following:

Q. How do I make a public submission?

A public submission can be made from this site - see ‘Make a Submission’ option located above the Comments section of this website.

Submissions must be received by close of business Friday 28 August 2009. A summary of all submissions will be provided to Councillors when the draft Plan of Management goes back to Council for consideration and adoption.

Q. How do I find out more information?

Copies of the Blackheath Memorial Park Draft Plan of Management are available from;

· Council Libraries;

· Katoomba and Springwood Council offices, between the hours of 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday;

· Council’s website www.bmcc.nsw.gov.au, and

· From this website

You are also invited to a public information session to review and discuss the Draft Management Plan. The information session will be held on Saturday 15th August from 11am - 3pm at the Blackheath Community Hall. Council staff will be available to answer questions and receive feedback.
