Q. How do I take part in discussions about the draft Management Plan ?
You can debate issues and raise questions in this Bang the Table forum.
This forum aims to allow community debate and discussion related to the Management Plan.
Council will take a ‘hands off’ approach to the debate. We will listen and collect your ideas for consideration in the final Management Plan.
Please note that comments included in this discussion forum will not be considered as a formal submission to Council.
Q. How do I make a formal submission to Council about the Draft Management Plan ?
There are 5 ways for you to be heard:
1. Write a LETTER and mail it to: General Manager, Penrith City Council, PO Box 60, PENRITH NSW 2751.
2. FAX a letter or feedback form to (02) 4732 7958
3. EMAIL your comments to Council at "managementplan@penrithcity.nsw.gov.au".
4. Use the ON-LINE FEEDBACK FORM at "www.penrithcity.nsw.gov.au".
5. Take part in the PUBLIC MEETING at the Penrith Civic Centre (601 High Street Penrith) at 7.00pm on Monday 2 June 2008.
Q. What's in Part A - Strategic Overview ?
This provides a summary of the full Management Plan and information about Council's annual program for the City of Penrith. It identifies the issues that Council will address in the coming year and provides an overview of the key activities and projects. It also summaries current and proposed activities and projects.

Q. What's in Part B - the Operational Plan and Budget ?
This provides a complete profile of Council’s services, projects and a detailed budget for 2008-2009.
It also has Council’s revenue policy and an explanation of rates, borrowings and other financial information.

Q. What's in Part C - Fees and Charges ?
This provides a complete listing of Council’s fees and charges for 2008-2009 in order by service as well as information on the basis for pricing.
It also includes domestic waste and recycling charges and developer contribution rates.
