In summary, the draft master plan gives the community:
• Access to trails around the lagoon
• Links from Tygum Park to Henry Jordan Park
• Links through Tygum Park, and from Kingston Rd to Tygum Lagoon
• Views into the site from Kingston Rd
• Opportunities for use of the park by surrounding schools and retirement village residents
• A new jetty, and storage facility for model boat club users
• More parking, landscaping and artworks
• A lookout near Melliodora Rd, overlooking the lagoon

In consultation with home owners we will relocate existing fencing that extends beyond private property boundaries and down to the water line across Council land. The fences will be relocated on surveyed property boundaries.
