Bega Valley Shire Council is seeking community views on a proposal to introduce smoke-free outdoor areas that, if adopted, would restrict smoking at Council facilities including public halls, airport, wharves and jettys etc., sporting grounds, children's playgrounds, alfresco dining area, beaches and at all Council run or sponsored events.

Please refer to the policy document and report that was submitted to the meeting of Council on Tuesday 23 February 2010 in the project library.

You can have you say on this proposed policy by responding in the following ways:

2. Send Council a written submission addressed to the General Manager, Bega Valley Shire Council, PO Box 492 Bega NSW 2550 or email council@begavalley.nsw.gov.au or click the submissions link on the orange tool bar below to upload your submission.
