The Draft Tamworth Regional Local Environmental Plan 2009 is an integral component of the Council’s Planning Policies for the development of the Region over the coming decades.
The Draft Plan does a number of things including placing land-use zones over every single parcel of land within the Region, determines where you can and can not build certain structures or undertake certain uses and protects important heritage buildings and locations across the region.
Submissions can be made through this site, by writing to Council, or by emailing Council directly at trc@tamworth.nsw.gov.au . Telephone enquires can be made on 02 67675507 Monday to Friday between 9.00am to 5.00pm and should be directed to Council’s Environment Planning and Economic Development Directorate.
