Affordable Housing

I see no strategy for affordable housing. It is vital that Council work to consider this issue as prices are being artificaly raised by demand for housing from Sydney siders who use them as weekenders. This places real strains on the resident community. An affordable housing strategy needs to go well beyond looking at supply and needs to manage the typology and ownership of new housing stock.

important issue - the LEP may not be the place to deal with this issue but there should be a strategy to inform the lep. also the zones could allow more scope for affordable housig.

This would be a good move, the area is getting too expensive for younger families and people we need for our community to prosper - this should be a driving force for the plans of council
