Council delivers many important projects each year. Do you have any comments on the projects which Council is proposing for 2008-09? Are there any Council projects that should be delivered in a different way?
In 2008-09 a total of $51m in capital works is proposed.

Grafitti removal is important it makes the place feel unsafe. There should also be more policing of this and littering

Yes but give kids somewhere to go and paint - look at Melbourne, the graffitti is seen as art.

I am very unhappy with rate payers money being used to build an office block for state government agencies. $3.8 million is a lot of money. We pay so much to the state government why should we build them offices to tax us from!

This will bring essential services closer to our council area as well as providing much needed employment opportunities in our area.

It will bring jobs but it does seem a bit much that we should have to pay the State to house their agencies. They keep putting more and more on local government and rate payers and now we have to build their offices too!

Could consideration be given to building a concrete/bitumen path from the existing footpath at the bottom of William St (off Victoria St) to the carpark at Burton St.

When it is raining or wet there are puddles in the park which are not visible because they are usually below grass level.

Also in the same conditions Council Vehicles drive along the dirt track creating pot holes as they enter the park
