Cycleways

The plan proposes the development of a bicycle strategy for Broken Hill. Would you support such a proposal and, if so, are there any key facilities that you believe should be linked by marked bicycle routes.

I think cycleways can link parks and Centro plaza, shops, the pool for example. As someone who cycles around town from out North to far South to get to places it is possible to find routes that are flat or minimally hilly (but as you cycle more the easier it becomes). So don't put a silly cycleway around Sturt Park but use cycleways to link spots. The streets are generally wide enough, though sometimes the lanes are flatter. What is needed are decent bicycle racks to put a bike if you want to shop, visit a gallery etc
