Yes I do, because too many kids are bored and find stimulation in the wrong crowd. Linking with schools helps identify the kids who need support. BUT it is not just those kids we should be looking at ....we need to show positive development of talented kids. This has a twofold effect: It supports those talented kids and also shows others that there is something else which might encourage them to have a go at doing something they are good at. Youth theatre is something I forgot to add earlier, along with youth mentoring programmes using professionals; business people; actors; retired people; musicians; artists; builders; etc. in the community

Thanks again Ross,
This feedback is in valuable.
Mentoring programs and linking with all community sectors is certainly needed.
I wonder if we can start by holdongh open forums with parents to gain their ideas first hand - It will also help
us promote youth services!
