Moss Vale (1.826 MB)

The CBD needs the new development to bring some life to the town but we really need a proper strategy to get development sympathetic to our heritage - that is why people come here. The public reserves should not be sold off. This is a cash grab we need more public space not less.

Considering that Council has intentions to have another 1400 residences in Moss Vale (Chelsea Gardens and Coomungie plus the Broughton Street area) we should be preserving all the existing open space in Moss Vale.

Attended the meeting on Tuesday re Ritchie Park and Thwaites park.
The map detailed the location of the proposal and the majority of residents on Bong Bong Hill, Suttor road and streets off these have limited or no access to the proposed parks.
With increased traffick and excessive speeds i tis difficult to leave young people or the elderly to cross Suttor Road to use the new bike track.
No parks for passice recreation.
Shame on Council.
