Park Rating

Council proposes to adopt a park and sport facility rating to assist in the management and maintenance of facilities based on intended use, location and perceived importance to the community. These will include: Recreation City Parks. These are the city’s major recreation parks that offer a wide variety of opportunities to a broad cross section of the community. These parks are often large in size, with a range of amenities and facilities. These parks attract users from throughout Broken Hill and are sought out by visitors to the city.
