Our family has lived in Burow Road for thirty plus years and has always enjoyed the lake and park as a wildlife reserve. The wildlife was in abundance for years, turtles, pelicans,hens, ducks, spoonbills, swans and of course the resident protectors, the family of geese.Apparantly they were removed by the council about three years ago, why? They had lived there for years, they were part of the area and the locals all loved them. The turtles seemed to have gone in numbers since the council did work on the edge of the lake where the turtles were breeding.Havn't seen any since.One of read more
