URGENT NOTE_Council Meeting February

by Peter Cunningham 12:30pm, 25 Feb 2008

Today (Mon 25 Feb) I rang a "Roz Piper on 48680713" who is the Council's Administration Officer.
She certainly did not like discussing things with a mere mortal such as myself, let alone being advised of a problem they have that will cause people grief.
The issue being that their website shows "Questions from the public" being 1900-1930hrs, whereas the Question Form advises 1730-1800hrs.
It was not simple to make her understand that many people want to attend due to their concern over the leisure centre and will be misled, thus cause them and ultimately council avoidable 'grief'.
I asked then demanded that she check and confirm the actual time envelope, and further suggested that she advise the switchboard and ensure that they advise everybody who rings the switch of the actual current situation.
THIS MONTH'S QUESTION TIME IS BETWEEN 1730 and 1800hrs Wed 27 Feb
All questions (no statements or objections) must be provided in written form - maximum of three - and on the official council form.
