What happens next with Council

Aftert June 1st, date for close of submissions to council, what happens next.
My view is we need to soehow establish a group of thoughtful "concerned citizens"(Proponents, Opponents and the in-betweens) to make sure Hornsby Council properly engages with the community, that they have a community group to interact with as they move the planning to the next stages ? A "ginger group" to make sure they do not get lazy or complacent abou tthe whole thing.
