Free outdoor concerte in summer - like the first concert in the WSOC series in 2008. These events present a wonderful way to introduce new people to the subscription concerts and bring children and older family members who can't attend a full concert session (for various reasons) to concerts.

It is important that the location is easily accessed, offers reasonable facilities such as toilets, parking & if possible the site should be like a sloping amphitheater which offers better vision lines & acoustics

Nicholson Park along Nicholson Road would be a good venue for outdoor summer performances

There is a need for a regular acoustic music venue on the North Shore. There are successful venues in inner city and southern suburbs, and even in provincial centers like Woolongong. But no regular venue in this area. Having a music festival associated with the opening of the new venues could be a way to kick of a regular monthly of weekly event.

I really have only been to the Zenith Theatre once as I was always not sure about parking arrangemens. However now having been there, I thought it was much better than I expected and the acoustics were definitely superior to those at the UTS Kuringai which the Willoughby Symphony has had to use during the rebuilding operations.

Now that Marion St Theatre is no longer in existence there is a need for an equivalent functioning theatre on the North Shore e.g. licensed venue, regular shows, the opportunity to have dinner and a show, all clearly marketed and promoted in the local press

also, productions of plays that are being studied at local schools.

I would definitely like to see more good quality theatre. In my trips to the Zenith I have been enthralled by production put on by Epicentre. The problem has been that there have only been 3 a year, the fourth outdoors. It would be good to ensure that this continues and hopefully increases. I would like to thank the council for making such wonderful theatre locally available.
