I like all of what you have suggested in your question. I would also like to see the idea of 'Borrowing people' considered.....an hour's chat with a volunteer from our very interesting community in a nearby cafe. I will be happy to help get this started.

I borrow extensively from Naremburn Library. I would like to see all of the above available in our library as well as the other branches. We have community group meetings including the Progress Association. I would particularly like us to have author talks from fiction writers.

There are very few courses available in Sydney for people who want to improve thier plant identification skills. It is possible that one could be designed that would appeal to both bush walkers, bush regenerators and for general interest, that would complement the work of councils bush care unit.

I would like to see dance classes for pre-schoolers and children run in the new Community facilities. However, it has been very difficult to find a space which has sprung floors installed which would be much better and safer for this type of activity. I hope that the installation of sprung floors will be given serious consideration in the development of the new Community facilities. A wonderful example is the new Surry Hills Community Centre.
