Where is the City Clean up money?

At the community consultation workshops there was a major call to clean up the Newcastle LGA especially the CBD. The draft budget shows very little effort or expenditure. Why?

Looks like no one from Council is able to explain why the ratepayers are yet again totally ignored.

Council wants a smoking ban in and near buildings and eating places however has a designated smoking area outside the Civic Theatre!

I agree. Let's get some more strategists on to it. let's say 10 more, comprising 50% smokers! We will need a fewer PA's and maybe a course at Harvard because this is a complex problem.
