Will the propsed plan stop the leakage to out-of-town businesses?
Seems that a lot of folk for the project seem to think that this project will stop (or at least greatly reduce) *leakage* of local dollars to other places?
What do you think?

I won't change my buying patterns if the street looks a feels nicer. If the businesses I seek aren't there, I won't shop there for those things I need. Singleton simply doesn't have the variety of commerce, or the population to support it, that'd significantly convince me to shop elsewhere when I can.

I feel that Singleton does not have the variety we need. We need to encourage Mac wide to continue to build the major complex. We need more larger stores like target country, Best and less and even more mens stores. What is there for men except Ed Harry and Big W. A shoe chain would be great as well. I do not feel the streetscape will improve our shopping .
