Would you like to see shuttle bus services extended elsewhere, and if so, where?

Yes I would love to see this service extend to Northbridge as there are many elderly people living down the bottom of the hill who only drive to get to the shops. Also I would like to see a night service doing one or two runs at 1am and 2 am for our yopung people to get back from the city on Friday and Saturday nights. Also there is no 267 on Sunday to Chatswood so perhaps this bus could do a few Sunday loops.

I believe the 289 service runs from the city up Pacific Highway and on to Epping Road, the City Rail Nightrider goes up Pacific Highway - Herbert St - Hampden Rd. If the young people can't find either of these services then perhaps they need to come home from the city earlier.

Yes I agree. Please see other reply to first question which says briefly that I would like to see a similar service in West Chatswood to avoid driving across the Highway. The 255 really only serves the peak hour needs. Smaller buses throughout the day going beyond the station to the shopping centres would be attractive. Other services should be considered in that part of west Chatswood north of Fullers/Millwood. If Artarmon station were included it would provide a very effective link through the community as various routes could interconnect.

I would like to see a Saturday service with the destination being the netball courts at the Willougby Leisure Centre. The aim is to reduce the significant traffic congestion on saturdays during the Netball season. The timetable would need to allow players time to arrive in plenty of time for the games. There would need to be survey to assess the best routes to maximise passenger numbers.

If you could link up the Loop with the Lane Cove bus exchange at the corner of Longueville Rd and Epping Road, that would be perfect. It'd fill in the "blind spot" between the public transport hubs of St Leonards station and Lane Cove.

Fantastic initiative by the way! Well done whoever got the loop up and running! Wish other councils would do it!

I would love to see the service extended to include Artarmon station in the morning and evening peaks, and to and from the Artarmon shops at lunchtime.

The Atarmon Loop Bus is a great innovation. In Naremburn, we are well served by public transport. The real problem we experience is young males who walk through our suburb on their way north after the 'last bus' has gone. This is particularly a problem in the early hours of Sat and Sun. The blokes often vent their frustation on private vehicles, etc. A shuttle bus would be great, but probably too expensive. Perhaps there needs to be a night-rider service that goes through Crows Nest, Naremburn, Willoughby and points north.
