There are a number of areas of concern with the D.A.

A) The DECONTAMINATION of the old service station site. ( Wollondilly Shire Council , in previous times have not followed through with, full and propper overseeing of decontamination areas of the past. ie Tahmoor old Shell service station near BiLo complex... where did the contaminants go ? and are these contaminants leaching into water table or waterways?... where do the contaminants go from the Picton site... NOT DETAILED in APPLICATION !!!?

B) The HERITAGE value of the site is not explored or identified. Nor is the proposed structure representative of the more…
