StreetFair 2009 boasted over 140 quality arts, crafts, environment and gourmet food stalls, 5 entertainment stages, 1000 person street parade & attracted over 120,000 attendees.
The StreetFair is the largest event within the Willoughby Spring Festival calendar and is also one of the few true remaining StreetFair’s in Australia. With wonderful delights and surprises around every street corner, the heart of Chatswood is transformed into a sea of vibrant colourful costumes and entertainment during the StreetFair Parade. Each street is jam packed with non-stop activity. KIDZONE is a frenetic fun packed day of circus antics and song and dance performers. You can chill out at the Y(outh) Lounge while being entertained by bands, hip hop dancers and martial art displays and dance in the streets in Rhythm Road to the beat of salsa, funk, jazz and hip-hop. Foodies won’t be able to go pass Coffee Action and Food Flair in Chatswood Mall and Sustainability Street has an answer to all of your environmental questions with demonstrations, bush gardens and information stands.
The Willoughby Spring Festival aims to involve the entire community by providing a diverse range of events that attract people of all ages. Participants include toddlers, families, youth, 20-35s, seniors, ethnic groups, music and arts lovers, local and regional businesses. Yes, there is something for everyone!
