Willoughby City Council’s Performing Arts Unit is keen to enrich the cultural vitality of Willoughby City with a range of performances, venues and support programs that benefit the whole community.
Our 3 main areas of activity are;
1. Generating Engaging Performances – including the award winning Willoughby Symphony, world-class theatrical shows and a huge range of local talent.
2. Managing Venues – including the Zenith Theatre and Convention Centre and other multi-purpose performance venues managed by a highly experienced operations team.
3. Encouraging Community Performing Arts – Willoughby Council supports a broad range of community groups in presenting live arts experiences.
The Zenith Theatre and Convention Centre is a versatile performance space conveniently located in the central business district suburb of Chatswood, Sydney. Appealing to both corporate and entertainment sectors, this venue houses a 250 seat auditorium, an ideal conference and seminar room and a sprung wooden floor rehearsal room.
