Wingecarribee Shire Council has developed a draft Bicycle Strategy. The draft identifies existing and proposed key bicycle routes for Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong with an annual action plan to implement upgrades and construct new bicycle routes.
We need your feedback to let Council know if we've got it right. Have your say here online or write to Council by 13 August 2008.
Submissions can be made through this site, by writing to Council, or by emailing Council directly at wscmail@wsc.nsw.gov.au. Telephone enquiries can be made on 4868 0888 Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm and should be directed to Council's Road Safety Officer.

Connecting the three main towns

Other Areas of the Shire
It is acknowledged that cyclists travel outside the 3 main town areas but due to funding constraints only the towns of Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong were considered for the present draft Bicycle Strategy.
It is proposed to consult the recently completed Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plans for shared path construction in the villages.

Budget Implications

Connecting people and places
Local Access Connections have been considered in the strategy to link the major town link path with key places of interest such as schools, pools, playing fields, shopping and main employment areas.
