Wollondilly Have Your Say

Wollondilly Shire Council

Welcome to the ‘Wollondilly Have Your Say’ page.  This unique page will be available on a trial basis for 6 months to provide an interactive space for you to share your thoughts, suggestions and ideas about any matter in the Wollondilly Shire.

Council appreciates that many residents lead very busy lives and find it difficult to attend meetings and community consultations or simply do not have the time or inclination for letter writing.

Perhaps more importantly, Council recognises the abundance of great ideas and expertise within the community and has established the site as an alternative means for the community to discuss ideas, issues and opportunities with both Council and the wider community.

Have your say! It’s Easy! All you need is an email address to register and engage in discussions or to start a discussion yourself. (no need to register to browse the page). For more info read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) below.

Council needs to look into more ways of providing options for recycling of e-waste and other products to the Community. Council can use these to raise the much needed funds to provide more services Shire wide.

A common problem is the state of the roads and gutters in our Shire. Warragamba has a lot of issues with the gutters and what is left in them, from grass to gravel, it all impacts upon the Community who use them.

Wollondilly Shire Council Draft LEP/DCP

Did anyone else notice that in the new LEP/DCP there was no room for growth within Wollondilly, it is like WSC has their eyes closed and do not want our growing community to grow, there are so many things declined and they spend all their time/money and resources trying to shut down local businesses that employ large numbers of local employees. THE MONEY THEY ARE USING TO TRY AND CLOSE OUR BUSINESS IS YOUR RATES MONEY, THIS IS SPENT HAVING FULL TIME EMPLOYEES WORKING ON OUR FILE AND SPYING ON US OUT OF BUSINESS HOURS. WHen this could be used on better things in the Wollondilly to make our shire a better place for all.

With no room for growth these people would just become part of Australias unemployed figure.

Have oyur say and let them know what your thinking, because i dont think we are the only company dealing with this and if we are then we are definately being singled out

Did you know 70% of your Wollondilly workforce leave the area for employment...Lets build a strong economy in your Wollondilly together". False Statement from WSC

I read in the Wollondilly advertiser in the bush telegraph section where WSC have written " Did you know 70% of your Wollondilly workforce leave the area for employment...Lets build a strong economy in your Wollondilly together".
This has come to my attention as a business that i am involved in both as an employee and a family member that employs 40 local wollondilly residents  is constantly trying to be shut down by a Council hell bent on making our families life hell.
This is not just ruining our business but our family life as well. ALSO EFFECTING THE WOLLONDILLY GROWING ECONOMY

Has anyone else noticed that for such a large sum of money not much seems to be happening and it actually looks worse then before they started the works, also the pollution from the parts of the road that were dug out and driven over. I have never seen such an ugly disaster in all my life
