This consultation has concluded. Council’s current Tree Preservation Order has been amended in order to comply with the recent introduction of the Native Vegetation act www.nativevegetation.nsw.gov.au which prohibits clearing on a certain scale in rural areas without the approval of the State.
The exhibition of the amended Tree Preservation Order will give the community an opportunity to inform Council of any issues or further amendments they feel may be appropriate to consider.
Comments can be made through this site or submissions may be made by writing to Council, or by emailing Council directly at council@wollondilly.nsw.gov.au. Telephone enquiries can be made on 4677 1177 Monday to Friday between 8am and 4.30pm and should be directed to Council's Environmental Services.
Comments must be received by Council no later than 4.00pm, Tuesday 2nd September.
